Average order processing time is 10 business days after all required information has been received, including the prior recorded vesting deed. If additional documentation is required based on the state or county where the property is located, you will be contacted.

By requesting document preparation, whether directly or through advisors, consultants, or attorneys, all signers acknowledge that they have the authority to do so and agree to review and approve all documents and forms, including those used in the preparation process. Copies of these documents will be made available for review before signing.

In addition to standard county recording fees, government agencies, homeowners’ associations (HOAs), or other third parties may assess additional taxes or fees when a deed is recorded, even if the transfer is exempt from transfer tax.

Please be aware that any government agency, including but not limited to a county assessor or recorder, may assess or reassess a property as a result of a transfer or a change in title. This may lead to additional taxes or fees, even if the transfer is between the same parties or is otherwise exempt from transfer tax. In other words, any transfer may trigger a new taxable event.

It is the signer’s responsibility to contact the appropriate county recorder and assessor to determine applicable fees and taxes before proceeding with any property transfer.
