Filling out the questionnaire is free. You will not be charged until your deed has been prepared and sent to you for review and signature. Our average processing time is within 4 – 7 business days. If research is required, it may take a little longer to obtain a copy of the prior recorded deed. Once your deed is signed along with any state and county forms, simply mail everything back to us in the provided business reply postage paid envelope and upon receipt, we will promptly file it with the proper recording jurisdiction.
You can call us to check the status of your document or you can use the Check Status feature on our site to track the status of your deed anytime. Depending on the state and county where your document is sent for recording, processing times can range between two weeks for smaller counties in states like Utah, Idaho and Montana, several weeks for states like California, Oregon, and Texas to more than 6 weeks for states like New York, Florida and Pennsylvania.
UDEED cannot control how fast a county records your document. If you require overnight service or even walk-in service, we can provide this for an additional charge.
